Stock

You enter the business's ingredients and each product's recipe; each location counts its own, and paid orders take them off by themselves.

Ingredients and recipes are the business's: they apply at every location. Each location keeps its own count. You open it with Stock in the left sidebar, with the restaurant chosen at the top. It has three tabs: Ingredients, Recipes and Movements.

Who can: ingredients and recipes, the owner, admins and anyone with a custom role holding "Product catalog: Edit". Counting, entering deliveries and waste, and changing the warning, the owner, admins, the location's manager and its kitchen. Everyone else sees it read-only. Nobody changes an archived location.

Add an ingredient

  1. Tap + Ingredient.
  2. Type the name ("Avocado", "Potato bun") and choose what it is counted in: Units, Grams or Millilitres. The unit cannot be changed later.
  3. Tap Add ingredient.

An ingredient you no longer use is archived: it disappears and is no longer taken off. Bring back, under the table, returns it.

A product's recipe

  1. In Recipes, choose the product and tap See recipe.
  2. In each row, choose an ingredient and how much one dish uses, in the ingredient's unit (for example, 80 for 80 g of avocado). There are empty rows to add more; an empty row is not saved.
  3. Tap Save recipe.

For now options (a side, an extra) take no stock off: only the product does.

Count, enter a delivery or waste

In Count stock, choose what you are entering:

  • Count: what is there now. It replaces the location's number.
  • Delivery: what came in. It is added.
  • Waste: what was thrown away. It is taken off.

Fill in only the ingredients you counted (empty ones do not change), add a note if you like and tap Save.

"Low stock"

In Warn at, type the amount you want to be warned at and tap Save. When the location has that much or less, the ingredient shows Low stock. Leave it empty for no warning. A dish is not marked sold out by itself: if it ran out, mark it in Sold out.

When it is taken off

When an order's payment is confirmed, Restoman takes each dish's recipe off at that location, within the next minute. If the order is canceled later, it gives it back. It never holds an order up: stock can go below zero if nobody counted, which tells you it is time to count.

Movements

Movements shows every change at the location, newest first: counts (with who made them), deliveries, waste, sales with their order number and canceled orders. You can see a single ingredient's. See more brings the earlier ones.
