Sales summary

How much the business sold today, this week, this month or all time, the average ticket, kitchen time, best sellers and the spreadsheet to download.

The summary shows how the business is doing: how much it sold, how many orders came in, the average ticket, how long the kitchen takes and what sells most. You open it from Summary, in the sidebar.

Who can: the owner, the admins, the accountant and each location's manager, who sees their own, see it. An archived location still counts its sales.

What counts

  • Paid orders count. Canceled ones do not: canceling refunded them.
  • Sales are what customers ordered, less what a promo code took off and without tips, which belong to the team.
  • Each order counts in its location's business day, 06:00 to 06:00 in its time zone: an order at 00:30 counts in the night before.
  • Kitchen time runs from when the order was paid, or when its ticket printed if it was scheduled, until it was marked Ready.

The period and the location

At the top, pick the period: Today, Week (the last 7 days), Month (the last 30) or All time. Each figure is compared with the same period before: today with the same weekday last week ("vs. last Thursday"), the week with the 7 days before and the month with the 30 before. Green is better; red is worse. For kitchen time, less is better.

If the business has more than one location, pick one in Location and tap Show, or leave All locations.

Sales by hour shows the hours that sold today; for a week or a month, each day, and for all time, each month. Best sellers lists the five products that sold most.

Export

Export downloads a spreadsheet (CSV) with one row per paid order in the period: date and time at the location, location, number, customer, number of items, subtotal, discount, tip, total, status and payment method. Canceled orders appear with their status. The spreadsheet comes in the dashboard's language: in English, columns are separated by commas and amounts are in pesos with a decimal point, such as "12000.00"; in Spanish, by semicolons with a decimal comma, "12000,00", which is what Excel set up for Argentina expects. One spreadsheet covers up to a year.
