# Remove someone or leave the business

> You take a person out of the business, or you leave it yourself. The invitations they sent that are still pending are canceled.

## Remove a person

**Who can:** the owner, anyone; an admin, anyone who isn't an admin or the owner.

1. In [Team](/en/guia/equipo), tap **Remove** in the person's row.
2. Confirm with **Remove**.

The person stops seeing the business and its locations, and the invitations they sent that were still pending are canceled. To bring them back, send them a [new invitation](/en/guia/invitar).

## Leave the business

**Who can:** anyone in the business except the owner.

1. In [Team](/en/guia/equipo), tap **Leave the business** in your row. If your role doesn't see the team, Team isn't in the sidebar: add `/equipo` to the business's address (for example, `…/bibis/equipo`) and the button is below the notice.
2. Confirm with **Leave the business**.

You stop seeing the business and its locations, and the invitations you sent that were still pending are canceled. To come back, someone has to invite you again. You can leave even if the business is suspended.

The owner can't leave: they first have to [transfer ownership](/en/guia/transferir-propiedad) to someone else.

## What each message means

| Message                                       | What happened and what to do        |
| --------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------- |
| Only the owner can change or remove an admin  | Ask the owner.                      |
| That person is no longer part of the business | They already left. Reload the page. |
| The owner can't leave the business            | Transfer ownership first.           |
