# Sign in to Restoman

> You sign in with your email and a 6-digit code we send you. There's no password.

Restoman doesn't use passwords: every time you sign in, we email you a code.

## How to sign in

1. Open the Restoman dashboard and enter your email.
2. Tap **Send code**.
3. Find the email from Restoman and copy the 6-digit code. If you don't see it, check your spam folder.
4. Enter it in **Code** and tap **Sign in**.

That's it: you land in your business. If you work at more than one, you pick one first ([Choose a business](/en/guia/elegir-negocio)); if you aren't part of any yet, you land in [My account](/en/guia/mi-cuenta).

The first time you sign in with an email, Restoman creates your account. There's no need to sign up first.

If the screen shows **Continue with Google**, you can also sign in with your Google account.

## If the code doesn't arrive

- Wait a minute and tap **Resend code**. Each new code replaces the last one.
- If you mistyped your email, tap **Use another email**.

## If you got an invitation or a proposal

Sign in with the same email it was sent to. After you sign in, Restoman takes you back to the page the link opened.

## What each message means

| Message                                                 | What happened and what to do                                                                 |

| That code isn't valid                                   | Check the 6 digits or request a new one.                                                     |
| The code has expired                                    | A code lasts 5 minutes. Request a new one.                                                   |
| Too many attempts with this code                        | Each code allows 3 attempts. Request a new one.                                              |
| You've requested too many codes                         | You can request one code a minute, 5 an hour and 10 a day. Wait as long as the message says. |
| Too many attempts                                       | There were many wrong codes for that email. Wait as long as the message says.                |
| Signing in with email isn't available right now         | Restoman can't send email at the moment. Try again later.                                    |
| You signed in, but your browser didn't keep the session | Your browser blocks this site's cookies. Allow them and try again.                           |

## To sign out

Tap **Sign out**, at the bottom of the sidebar (on a phone, in the navigation menu).
